Surrounded By Angels

"Life Happens"! Things happen! Emotions go up and down! Well, this week, life was happening, things were happening, and my emotions were literally on a rollercoaster ride. The rollercoaster had the pedal to the medal, and I felt all the effects. This put me in a very dark and gloomy mood. During a season that was supposed to be filled with Joy as we celebrate the Holiday season, I was being a Grinch. I didn't hide my emotions like usual because I was exhausted from the Hustle and Bustle of Life. I would constantly think, "God, I know this can't be how my future looks?". I need a break. I need peace. To top it off, I desired some things that I knew that only God provided, and it seemed that God had put me on the naughty list and wasn't delivering. So, I took it personally. I started to question my actions. I questioned who I was. I questioned my relationship with Christ. In that assessment, I did realize that I was struggling spiritually. So, I decided to take a step back and surrender. I got quiet and began to pray, study, and manifest reconnection and strength in our relationship.

So, after continuing to be intentional, which for me meant consciously choosing positive thoughts and conversations, I felt a sense of peace. I started being intentional in my words to avoid negative thinking and conversations. In doing so, something amazing happened. I received an email regarding a blessing to a 16-year-old during Christmas. I looked at this list and, at the time, three ladies I found to be the most generous and loving people I have ever encountered. It was ironic because we had all never been in the same spot at once because, truthfully, none of the ladies were connected to each other. The connection was me; we were all connected in one space today. I looked up from my computer and said to the ladies, it is a 16-year-old that needs to be blessed during Christmas. She is part of a sibling group and hasn't been sponsored. I said, "What do y'all think?" They immediately said at once, "I am in. " My heart was immediately filled with joy. We started planning and decided to grab the things during lunch. When they left the room, my eyes filled with tears. I could do nothing but thank God.

Watch your surrounding! Avoid anything that doesn't serve you!

I thanked God because, at that moment, I felt surrounded by angels. His angels. God worked through those ladies to show how he provides. He worked through them to show me his grace. He worked through to show me that he is a provider. He worked through them to show me love. He worked through them to show me that he heard me. He worked through them to show me his power. God knew that Satan was trying to trick me into believing that he had forgotten about me. He knew that Satan was mocking me. So, he sent three angels to show me differently.

This is a major win and a reminder to surround yourself with people who bring peace, love, and positivity. I am so grateful and thankful. So, if you get nothing from this message, remember you are not forgotten. You are loved. You matter. If you feel disturbed or encounter difficulty, don't take it personally because it's not. Instead, get to the root cause of your thinking and how you think. For me, it was my disconnection to Christ. When I became intentional and worked to avoid negative talk and trickery, God showed up in a powerful way. He didn't send one angel. He sent THREE. This was a clear demonstration of his power and grace. It may not be my desires that were provided, but guess what? He gave me the ability to give someone else their desires, which is more powerful.

So, today, I challenge you to seek peace through whatever situation you face.
