I'm pretty sure you have heard the statement, "check yourself before you wreck yourself". It may not mean much and it may even sound cheesy or lame, but it's true. If you don't evaluate yourself and makes necessary improvements and changes, you'll end up destroying yourself. I have found that it's easier to evaluate, condemn, and point out issues with others, but it's very difficult to do the same for ourselves. We can give the best critiques and advice for other people, but if asked to do the same to ourselves we probably wouldn't know where to start. Although difficult, we should "check ourselves" on a regular basis. The self-evaluations will help prevent nasty habits, correct nasty habits, and make you an overall better person.

Over the next 30 days, I will embark on a 30 day self-evaluation journey. Every day I will identify an issue and address it accordingly. The goal is to identify negative behaviors and bad habits to help better who I am as a person. My goal is to become a better mom, daughter, sister, employee, supervisor, leader, business owner, friend, and overall a better PERSON. In other words, I am going to check myself before I wreck myself. I understand that I am not perfect and have some changes to make, so this is the first step. So, over next 30 days take a minute to read my posts and use it as a self evaluating tool.
Remember, you are the best person to identify any issues you may have and correct them. You have the power to change anything that isn't positive in your life. So, join me as I check myself before I wreck myself.
